<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood that can rigidly support a flag pole when the flag pole is attached to the hood, efficiently absorbs energy by plastically being deformed if the hood hits a human body when a flag is not used, and can minimize an impact imparted to the human body. <P>SOLUTION: When the flag is not used, a fixed base member 14 of a pole receiving member 13 is fixed to an inner panel 3 of the hood 1, the flag pole 12 is screwed into the pole receiving member 13, and when the flag is not used, the fixed base member 14 of the pole receiving member 13 is removed from the hood 1.
