The seatback (14) has a support frame whose outer lateral frame part is turned toward an outer side of a motor car. An airbag module (18) is arranged in the lateral frame part with plate-like guide sections. A foam rubber padding is arranged on a side of one of the guide sections. The airbag module is arranged on an opposed side of the guide section. The guide sections are outwardly extended toward the support frame to guide an airbag of an airbag module to an activated state in a defined direction.
