PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing the center electrode of an ignition plug is provided to uniformly wear a center electrode by obtaining spark uniformity between a ground electrode and an electrode and smoothly processing the end part of the center electrode used for an ignition plug. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of center electrodes is received in a receiving container from the outside(S10). A center electrode, which is accepted in the receiving container, is transferred to a guide rail through an vibrating operation(S20). The center electrode transferred to the guide rail is chucked to a first transport unit in a perpendicular state(S30). The center electrode chucked in the first transport unit is transferred to a second transfer unit and chucked(S40).
