<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of improving luminous efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 30 comprises: a conductive substrate 31; a metallic reflective layer 33; a multilayer film structure 35 in which two or more materials having different refractive indices are sequentially deposited; a transparent conductive layer 37; and a semiconductor laminate 39. The metallic reflective layer is formed on the conductive substrate. The multilayer film structure is formed on the metallic reflective layer. The multilayer film structure includes at least one hole structure 352 that is formed so as to penetrate an insulating layer and the multilayer film structure.
