<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict a change rate of engine speed, according to a control form for controlling a hybrid car. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU (Electronic Control Unit) selects a control form from a plurality of control forms for controlling the hybrid car, and controls the hybrid car by the selected control form. Further the ECU controls to restrict a change rate of output number of rotation of the engine (engine speed) NE by the limit value (rate limit value) set beforehand.
