<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that excellent design property of a portable electronic device cannot be realized without increase in thickness of the portable electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: A portable electronic device comprises: a body section equipped with a first panel portion and a second panel portion connected with the first panel portion; and a frame portion for covering only an end of the body section. The juncture line of the first panel portion and the second panel portion is located at the end of the body portion.
