<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a Web application, without incorporating a special mechanism in the Web browser, to identify a user apparatus on which a Web browser operates. <P>SOLUTION: A Web application 106 receives a request from a Web browser 103, and gives an instruction to the Web browser 103 to issue a redirection to a signature application 105. The Web browser 103 gives an instruction to the signature application 105, and the signature application 105 generates a subscription and gives an instruction to the Web browser 103 to issue a redirection to the Web application.
