<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of rust caused by oxidation of an inner circumferential surface of a thin-walled bottomed cylindrical metallic member, and to prevent leakage of cooling water passing through a cooling hole outside caused by generation of cracks in the wall thickness direction of the thin-walled bottomed cylindrical metallic member. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a thin-walled bottomed cylindrical metallic member 1 which includes: an outer cylinder 2 made of metal; and an inner cylinder 4 which is housed inside the outer cylinder 2, made of a metal and has a cooling hole 1c formed inside the inner cylinder 4 and formed as a bottomed hole having a bottom part 1d at its fore end 1a. In the method, a hole 2a having the inside diameter with the difference from the outside diameter of the inner cylinder 4 being 0.01-0.05 mm is formed along the center axis of the outer cylinder 2; a surface of the hole 2a is worked so that the surface roughness of the hole 2a is improved; the inner cylinder 4 is inserted in the hole 2a of the outer cylinder 2 until the fore end of the inner cylinder 4 is abutted on a bottom part of the outer cylinder 2; and the outer cylinder 2 with the inner cylinder 4 being inserted therein is heated at a temperature of 1,000-1,050°C, and then rapidly cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
