<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner and a charging and discharging device, in which the charging method and the discharging control thereof is optimized by taking into account such information as the accumulated charging time and the accumulated number of discharging times of a power supply 4 for supplying power to a dust remover 3. <P>SOLUTION: An electric double-layer capacitor is used in the power supply 4 to detect the values of a temperature detector 6, a charging time accumulator 7, and a dust removal times accumulator 9, and allow discharging to occur by a charging and current-carrying time control or a compulsory dust removal, thereby suppressing the self-heating and memory effect of the power supply 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
