<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve design property such as reducing visibility of a night cover from a user with no additional component setting without needing to make a large structural change and to further improve design property by avoiding contact between a hook and a fluorescent tube when storing the night cover without securing a distance between illumination and the night cover in an open showcase in which a storage chamber partitioned from a cold air passage is provided inside a heat insulating wall of the showcase, an air curtain blowing off from an upper blowoff port toward a lower suction port is formed in a front opening of the storage chamber, a hanging flow straightening vane is mounted to the blowoff port, and fluorescent lamps are disposed in the front. <P>SOLUTION: A night cover winding part 5a is disposed in a recessed shape part set to an upper part of the flow straightening vane 15, and the tip of a reflecting plate 21 mounted with the fluorescent lamps 22 is extended to the lower side of the recessed shape part.
