Provided is a communication system capable of suitably capturing packets flowing through any one of nodes. The communication system comprises: a control apparatus that sets, to the nodes, a processing rule specifying a checking rule and the processings of packets complying with the checking rule; and the nodes that process received packets according to the processing rule. At least one of the nodes can execute a mirroring of received packets. For a flow that satisfies a given condition, the control apparatus sets, to any one of the nodes, both a processing rule that causes the node to perform a mirroring of packets and a processing rule that specifies a processing to transfer the mirrored packets to the nodes on a packet capture path leading to a given mirror server. |
