A sheet processing apparatus includes a support unit on which sheets are stacked together as a sheet stack and aligned; first and second binding units that respectively perform first and second binding processes to bind the sheet stack as first and second sheet stacks; a transporting unit that transports the first and second sheet stacks from the support unit toward first and second paths, respectively, which are in opposite directions; a reversing-and-transporting unit arranged at the second path, the reversing-and-transporting unit transporting and reversing the second sheet stack; a first output tray arranged at the first path, the first sheet stack being transported to the first output tray by the transporting unit; and a second output tray arranged at the second path, the second sheet stack being reversed and transported to the second output tray by the reversing-and-transporting unit. |
