The housing (1) has a holder (2) comprising two guide elements (4, 5), which form a holding section with walls in an accommodation state for containing an elongated article (3). The walls are arranged parallel to each other, and the holding section is upwardly opened. A flexible element is inserted between the two walls. The holder is transferred from the accommodation state into a holding state by deformation e.g. hot deformation or cold deformation. The walls are introduced together into an upper section. The holder and the housing are made of thermoplastic resin as a single piece. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a tool for deformation e.g. hot deformation or cold deformation, of a vehicle air conditioner housing (2) a method for establishing holding or fastening of an elongated article e.g. cable, cable harness, Bowden cable, pushrod guide, Bowden cable casing or line, at an outer surface of a vehicle air conditioner housing. |
