<p>The present invention discloses a method for processing multimedia message service, which includes: an initialization processing is carried out on a cache; after receiving a multimedia message body submitted by a service initiation party, a Multimedia Message Service Center (MMSC) sequentially stores the submitted multimedia message body into the cache according to the rule that the storage space in the cache for storing the multimedia message body is recycled, and sends the notification that the multimedia message body has been obtained to a receiving party terminal; after receiving an obtaining request sent by the receiving party terminal, the MMSC reads the requested multimedia message body from the cache, and returns said requested multimedia message body to the receiving party terminal. The invention also discloses a device for processing the multimedia message service. With the adoption of the method and device of the invention, the I/O reading and writing operation on a storage device can be reduced.</p> |
