Disclosed is an MIMO receiving device capable of demodulating a spatially multiplexed signal without using division computations of large computational resources. In the disclosed MIMO receiving device, a stream separation unit (105), on the basis of a numerator portion matrix A, separates a spatially multiplexed signal into a plurality of streams. The numerator portion matrix A is defined by a channel matrix H and a canceller method, and corresponds to the numerator of a stream separator matrix S for equalizing the phase and amplitude of the spatially multiplexed signal. A denominator portion calculation unit (108) calculates the denominator (denominator coefficient) of the stream separator matrix S, and a correction unit (117) corrects a threshold defined by the modulation method of the spatially multiplexed signal using the denominator (denominator coefficient) of the stream separator matrix S. Demapping units (109-1 to 109-3) calculate the likelihoods of a plurality of streams by threshold assessment using the threshold after correction.
