The method involves starting a recording of a time profile of a voltage level (Vout) on a power supply line and initiating current flow through a current sink in triggering unit (100) in response to a control signal (SPI). A voltage level is increased on the power supply line through a power supply device. The recording of the time profile of the voltage level is stopped on the power supply line. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for diagnosing the functioning of an energy supply device; and (2) a computer program product with program code for the execution of a diagnosing method. |
