APPRATUS FOR MEASURING STRENGTH OF FLAT GLASS

PURPOSE: A flat glass strength measuring apparatus is provided to optimize the lowering speed of a needle for measurement according to the material, thickness, and size of a flat glass when measuring destructive strength of the flat glass. CONSTITUTION: A step motor controller(110) outputs a pulse wave in order to control a speed of the rotation of a step motor(130). A driving part(120) is inputted the pulse wave form the step motor controller and runs the step motor. A needle(140) for measurement is connected to the step motor and receives power. The needle for measurement moves in a vertical direction about a destructive strength measurement target sheet glass. The needle for measurement is proportional to PPS(Pulse Per Second) and a lowering speed. The needle for measurement adds the power to the destructive strength measurement target sheet glass and destroys.
