<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery system excelling in operability to a constricted part without causing the fall and movement of a stent. <P>SOLUTION: The stent delivery system includes: an expansible balloon 1; an expansible stent 6 coaxially mounted on the outside of the balloon 1; an inside shaft 10; and an outside shaft 11 coaxially arranged on the outside of the inside shaft 10. The stent delivery system also includes a tubular support member 7 arranged at the tip of the outside shaft 11.
