ENCODING METHOD, DECODING METHOD, ENCODING APPARATUS, DECODING APPARATUS AND ENCODING-DECODING SYSTEM

An encoding method, decoding method, encoding apparatus, decoding apparatus and encoding-decoding system are provided, which are used for improving encoding performance. The encoding method includes: processing input video data to obtain a residual signal; obtaining a residual texture prediction direction of said residual signal; selecting an encoding transformation matrix from candidate transformation matrices corresponding to said video data according to a preset rule; if the residual texture prediction direction is not consistent with the direction of said encoding transformation matrix, using said encoding transformation matrix to transform said residual signal to obtain a transformation result; encoding said transformation result and an index of said encoding transformation matrix to obtain an encoding stream. A decoding method, decoding apparatus and encoding-decoding system are also provided.
