PURPOSE: An automated teller machine and a controlling method thereof are provided to easily accumulate media by broadening an accumulation space since a support guider is carried to the front if the media are in an unusual condition. CONSTITUTION: A support guider(21) supports media which are transferred to a accumulation space. A transport mechanism(40) transfers the support guider. A rear guider(22) is arranged in the location separated from the support guider. A sensing mechanism(60) senses the media passing by a path. A controlling part(50) controls the transport mechanism based on the data of the sensing mechanism. The media transferred to the accumulation space is arranged in between the support guider and the rear guider. |
