PURPOSE: A portable wireless AP device and controlling method thereof are provided to enable a plurality of computers to use a wireless internet by simply using a portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a connector is connected to a portable terminal, a controlling unit executes a control program. The controlling unit is connected through the portable terminal. The controlling unit performs an AP function. The controlling unit transmits a WiFi signal to a computer through an antenna. A battery(370) supplies power to each part. A battery charging unit(371) charges the battery unit to the external power source.
