A METHOD FOR REALIZING SESSION COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE CALLING PARTY AND THE CALLED PARTY

A method for realizing session communication between the calling party and the called party, which is applied to the next generation network. After off hook of the called party, the method includes: the application server of the called party repeats media negotiation in order to obtain media description information of the called party, and sends an update request information with the media description information of the called party to the application server of the calling party via each level of soft switch; the application server of the calling party repeated the media negotiation with the calling party using the media description information of the called party; after the media update, the calling party returns back a response with the media description information of the calling party to the called party, which realizing the bi-directional negotiation of the calling party and the called party and completing setup of the call. The method can realize multi-service socket trigger or forward trigger of several processes of one service, and it insures the normal connection of the calling party and the final called party.
