PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a plurality of cameras are subjected to the same camera shake, the difference between influences upon imaged images has not been able to be evaluated. SOLUTION: An image evaluating method of the present invention includes: a holding step of holding an imaging apparatus on a vibrating table; a vibrating step of vibrating the vibrating table in a state where the imaging apparatus is being held, on the basis of a model waveform; an imaging step of imaging a predetermined subject by means of the imaging apparatus in a state where the vibrating table is being vibrated; and an evaluating step of evaluating the image imaged by the imaging apparatus, wherein the model waveform is a vibration waveform generated by a method of: acquiring a plurality of vibration information items about vibration to be applied to the imaging apparatus when a photographer images the subject; subjecting frequency information of all or a part of the plurality of acquired vibration information items to statistic processing; and generating the model waveform based on a result of the statistic processing.
