PURPOSE: A touch panel is provided to prevent the decrease of life time and performance by preventing the movement of electron through a protection layer installed between a transparent electrode and an electrode wiring. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode(120) is formed at the one side of the transparent board. A protection layer(130) is formed at the side of the transparent electrode. The upper side of the protection layer(133) covers the boundary of the transparent electrode. The bottom of the protection layer(137) is projected to the boundary direction of the transparent board. An electrode wiring(140) is formed the side of the protection layer and covers the bottom of the protection layer. The protection layer is constituted by gold, white gold, and carbon series. The height of the protection layer is higher than the height of the transparent electrode.
