PURPOSE: A tire identification device is provided to quickly identify the type of a tire without stopping a conveyor operating in a tire production line. CONSTITUTION: A tire identification device comprises a tire standard database(230) in which three-dimensional scan data of tires are registered in advance, an identification module(240) which searches three-dimensional scan data transmitted from a three-dimensional scanner(100) from the tire standard database and provides a tire type corresponding to the searched three-dimensional scan data to a user terminal(300), and a scan module(220) which calculates one or more of the outer diameter, the inner diameter, and the height of a tire using the three-dimensional scan data.
