A method of making a window frame unit, where the frame comprises a top member, a bottom member and two side members and carries a pane comprising at least two sheet elements, and where the frame comprises one or more functional elements, is suggested. This method comprises the steps of making at least two frame parts by moulding and attaching sheet elements to at least two different frame parts during the moulding step by the adhesion of the material of the respective frame parts. In addition, functional elements are attached to at least two different frame parts during or after the moulding thereof, and the frame parts are superposed and interconnected so that their top sections, bottom sections and side sections form the top member, bottom member and side members of the frame, respectively. |
