PURPOSE: A device, for removing grease used for manufacturing stainless steel wire in one line, and an operating method thereof are provided to improve degreasing power and energy efficiency by applying a high temperature of wire surface in an expanding process to a degreasing temperature. CONSTITUTION: A device, for removing grease used for manufacturing stainless steel wire in one line, comprises a degreasing bath(141) and a pair of degreasing rollera(151,152). The degreasing bath selectively accepts degreasing solution for degreasing an extended wire surface. A pair of degreasing rollers is included in the inner side of the degreasing bath. A pair of degreasing rollers is separated as a prescribed distance to revolve. Multiple coiling grooves are formed on the outer circumference of each degreasing roller. The coiling groove is consecutively formed in a screw shape.
