<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of reliably taking actions to any illegal attack on a deadlock means. <P>SOLUTION: The steering lock device has a deadlock means 20 for locking a lock rod 10 at the steering lock position. The dead lock means 20 comprises a locking hole 21 formed in the lock rod 10, a lock pin 23 which is arranged on a frame 2 side and urged to the lock position side to be locked to the locking hole 21 by an urging spring 24, and a trigger member 25 which is integrated with a cover 3, and prevents any movement of the lock pin 23 to the lock position, and holds the lock pin 23 at the waiting position. When the cover 3 is subjected to any illegal attach so as to be transferred from the normal assembling position, the trigger member 25 releases the movement regulation of the lock pin 23, and the lock pin 23 is moved to the lock position in an electric steering lock device 1. A pair of elastic locking claws 22c for preventing any movement of the lock pin 23 transferred to the lock position to the waiting position side are provided on a pin case 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
