<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method of a flat cable with a conductive member in which a lead free solder is used and workability is excellent. <P>SOLUTION: An end side of a flat cable 1, having a plurality of conductor parts 2 arranged in parallel each other, a first covering portion 3a covering the plurality of the conductor parts 2 with a part of their end sides exposed, a second covering portion 3b which is positioned nearer the end sides than the first covering portion 3a and covers the end sides of the plurality of the conductor parts 2, is pinched between a pair of jigs 4, 5 in a central portion of which through holes 8a, 8b are formed, and the second covering portion 3a is shielded and moreover the exposed conductor parts 2 exposed out between the first covering portion 3a and the second covering portion 3b are positioned at a position overlapping with the through holes 8a, 8b, and then, the end side of the flat cable 1 is immersed in a jet solder tank 10 in which liquid lead free solder 14 is stored and the liquid lead free solder 14 is deposited only on the exposed conductor parts 2, and the exposed conductor parts 2 and other conductive members are brazed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
