PURPOSE: A device for fixing a retailing-wall block and a method of constructing a retaining wall using the same are provided to prevent stress from becoming concentrated on a connecting unit and a connecting unit from becoming bent or cut. CONSTITUTION: A device for fixing a retailing-wall block is as follows. A transversal bar(1) is inserted into a transversal groove. A longitudinal bar(2) is inserted into a longitudinal groove. A connecting unit(3) connects the transversal bar to the longitudinal bar. A fixing unit(4) is arranged on the rear of the longitudinal bar. The fixing unit is buried at the ground and fixes the longitudinal bar to under the ground. The transversal bar passes through a transversal pipe(31).
