PURPOSE: A glass composition, grinding whetstone including the same, a method for manufacturing the grinding whetstone, a sapphire wafer processing grinding wheel including the grinding whetstone are provided to maintain grinding load to a sapphire wafer by forming a plurality of regular pores on the grinding whetstone. CONSTITUTION: A glass composition for grinding whetstone includes 65-75 weight% of SiO_2, 5-15 weight% of B_2O_3, 10-20 weight% of Al_2O_3, 2-8 weight% of Na_2O, 1-3 weight% of CaO, and 2-4 weight% of ZnO. The grinding whetstone includes 30-50 weight% of the glass composition and 35-65 weight% of grinding particles. Pores are formed in the grinding whetstone. A method for manufacturing the grinding whetstone includes the following: The glass composition, the grinding particles, and a pore forming agent are mixed(S110). The mixture is shaped into a grinding whetstone form(S120). The pore forming agent is eliminated while the mixture is plasticized(S130). The mixture is sintered(S140).
