PURPOSE: Torch for a manual plasma welder is provided to protect arc since the pressure discharged through the space between the shield cap and outer circumferential surface of the circular pin of a conical contact unit is constant. CONSTITUTION: In torch for a manual plasma welder, centering stone(4), an insert tip(3), and a shield cap(2) are installed on the bottom of a torch body(1), with which a handle(8) is integrally formed. A collet chuck(5), a collet body(6), and a long cap(7) are installed on the upper part. A conical contact unit is formed on the bottom of the circular pin of the insert tip which has upper thread. The conical contact unit is formed by a first conical unit, a circular pin and a second conical unit. The insert tip comprises a short insert tip and a long insert tip. The end diameter of the conical contact unit of the insert tip has a larger diameter than that of the conical contact unit of an existing insert tip.
