[Class 109] The revolving tube c of a high speed wirestranding machine is supported by a roller bearing assembly having an intermediate runner ring f surrounding the adjacent ends of two sections of the tube. The ring f, which carries the inner race h, has an internal rib e by which it is secured to flanges d on the tube sections. An outer ring m, carrying the outer race j, has a spherical mounting at n in the machine frame o. Side members p on the outer ring provide between them, the inner ring f and the roller bearing i, a space q to receive oil or grease. |
