PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition which is excellent in impact strength, hydrolysis property and viscosity stability, also excellent in heat cycle property for repeating low-temperature and high-temperature tests and which is useful for machine mechanism parts, electric and electronic parts, or automobile parts into which a metal has been inserted. SOLUTION: The polybutylene terephthalate resin composition includes (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polybutylene terephthalate resin, (B) 0.5-50 pts.wt. of at least one kind of an ethylene system resin selected from ethylene copolymers obtained by copolymerizing (B1) an ethylene copolymer with (B2) 0.01-15 wt.% of maleic anhydride or glycidyl methacrylate, and (C) 0.1-6 pts.wt. of an epoxy compound comprising (C1) at least one kind of a monofunctional glycidyl ester compound and (C2) at least one kind of a glycidyl ether compound.
