PURPOSE: A portable terminal and control method thereof are provided to enable a user to acquire diverse information through a camera preview image. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen displays a camera preview image. A location information module(115) acquires location information. A control unit(180) transmits the location information of the designated destination when the destination is selected from the camera preview image. The control unit calculates route information from the acquired location of the opponent terminal to the destination. The control unit transmits the calculated route information to the opponent terminal. |
