The mixer comprises a motor assembly (10) with a housing (11) in which there is housed a motor (13) for rotating a drive shaft (12), and a working head (20) with a housing (21) and a transmission shaft (22) for driving a mechanism or a tool, there being a form fitting (11a, 21a) for coupling the working head (20) removably to the motor assembly (10) and first and second rotating coupling members (14, 24) for coupling the drive shaft (12) removably to the transmission shaft (22) when the working head (20) is coupled to the motor assembly (10). The transmission shaft (22) is made of ferromagnetic material and a magnetic device is provided to attract the transmission shaft (22) towards the drive shaft (12) when the working head (20, 30) is coupled to the motor assembly (10).
