<p>The light medium (10) has light emitting diodes (14a to 14c) and a driver circuit (12) for electrical supply to the light emitting diodes. The driver circuit is formed for operating with a sinusoidal network alternating voltage. A driver input (16) is provided for supplying the sinusoidal network alternating voltage. A driver output (18) is connected with the light emitting diodes. A controller (40) is parallel connected to a capacitor (50) or a resistor (48) or a parallel circuit (46) of the capacitor and the resistor.
