<p>A transmission for a work machine, in particular an agricultural tractor, comprises an input shaft (30), a carrier sun shaft (32), and an output shaft (34). A planetary gear set (36) includes a sun gear (52) coupled with the carrier sun shaft (32), a ring gear (56) coupled with the output shaft (34), and a plurality of planetary gears (54) enmeshed between the sun gear (52) and the ring gear (56). The transmission further comprises a plurality of shift elements (38), each of the shift elements (38) includes a first gear (48) coupled with the input shaft (30), a second gear (50) coupled with the carrier sun shaft (32) and enmeshed with the first gear (48), and a plurality of shift clutches (40), each one of the shift clutches (40) is selectively coupled between a corresponding shift element (38) and one of the input shaft (30) or the carrier sun shaft (32). A low range clutch (42) is selectively coupled between the input shaft (30) and the plurality of planetary gears (54). A high range clutch (44) is selectively coupled between the carrier sun shaft (32) and the output shaft (34).
