PURPOSE: An LED lighting optical system is provided to arrange an illumination area corresponding to size and distance changes of a subject, thereby improving lighting efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A first lens group(G1) has positive refractive power. A second lens group(G2) has positive refractive power. A third lens group(G3) has positive refractive power. The light projected from a light source is first-collimated by the positive refractive power of the first lens group. The light source has a divergence angle in a range of 120 to 140 degrees.
