Disclosed is a lighting device that is able to illuminate a wide area using a high luminous efficiency, long service life cold cathode light emitter, and that can be used under the same service conditions as conventional fluorescent lamp tubes. The lower portion of a tube body (4) is constructed primarily with a light transmitting member (9), a plurality of cold cathode light emitters (7) is extended along the tube axis on the interior of the tube body (4), and a light reflector member (30), which reflects the light of the cold cathode light emitters (7) toward the light transmitting member (9) located below, is disposed on top of the plurality of cold cathode light emitters (7). |
