A toy device that enables a transformable toy to be played with by itself and to be played in combination with another transformable toy and makes a novel impression is provided. The toy device includes a transformable toy (10) with a form which can be reversibly changed by turning a plurality of pivotable members (20), and a base unit (50) on which the transformable toy (10) is mountable. The transformable toy (10) includes a pivoting mechanism for turning the plurality of pivotable members (20) and an actuator (14) for actuating the pivoting mechanism. The base unit (50) includes an actuating part (64) to which the actuator (14) is coupled and an operating part (68) for externally operating the actuating part (64). When the operating part (68) is operated, the actuator (14) operates accordingly via the actuating part (64), and the pivoting mechanism is actuated to turn the plurality of pivotable members (20), thereby changing the form of the transformable toy (10).
