PURPOSE: A prestressed steel wire is provided to enable easy thread-coupling with peripheral parts instead of conventional wedge-coupling. CONSTITUTION: A prestressed steel wire comprises an extension part, an integrated part, and a thread part. The extension part is formed by twisting a plurality of peripheral strands(11,12,13) around a center strand(14). The integrated part is formed by heating a part of the extension part using a heating unit which is installed in a melting device forming an inner hollow passage(131) through which the extension part is transferred and solidifying the molten part so that the peripheral strands are integrated in the center strand. In the thread part, threads are formed along the exterior of the integrated part, and the end of the thread part is cut.
