摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing nano-porous platinum/titanium dioxide complex particles is provided to uniformly distribute fine platinum nano particles on the surface of titanium dioxide nano-particles through an aerosol assisted co-assembly process. CONSTITUTION: A colloidal solution is prepared by mixing metallic and ceramic nano-particles with water. The colloidal solution is sprayed into aerosol droplets. The aerosol droplets are evaporated at a temperature between 300 and 400 degrees Celsius. The nano-porous metal/ceramic complex particles are manufactured by an aerosol assisted co-assembly process. The aerosol assisted co-assembly process includes the following: Metallic and ceramic nano-particles are mixed with water to obtain a precursor solution. The precursor solution is sprayed into aerosol droplets using an ultrasound wave sprayer. The droplets are transferred to a tubular furnace. Water is evaporated to obtain self-assembled metal/ceramic complex particles. The particles are collected by a collector. The metal is platinum, and the ceramic is titanium dioxide.
