摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A straight elevation type hull end propelling device is provided to separately operate a driving unit and a stern driver, thereby instantaneously performing sudden braking and backward operations even though an obstacle exists. CONSTITUTION: A straight elevation type hull end propelling device(200) includes a slide shaft(50), a gear box(60), a vertical hydraulic cylinder(70), a propeller center shaft(80), a cavitation preventing device(90), a stern propeller body(100), a sliding bed(120), a sliding main body(130), upper and lower steering bearings(140,150), and a steering device unit(160). The slide shaft transfers power and expands or reduces a shaft in a longitudinal direction. A vertical hydraulic cylinder vertically elevates the stern propeller body. The propeller center shaft horizontally rotates the stern propeller body around a propelling shaft. A propeller(110) of the stern propeller body generates propelling power by rotation. The sliding bed guides vertical straight movement of the stern propeller body. The stern propeller body vertically moves in a straight direction while the stern propeller body is attached to a sliding body. The upper and lower steering bearings are fixed to the upper and lower parts of the sliding body. The steering device unit horizontally rotates the stern propeller body to change the moving direction of a ship.</p>
