PURPOSE: A device and a method for a mobile device interface and a recording medium for the same are provided to effectively operate and control a mobile device by simply knocking the edge of the mobile device. CONSTITUTION: A mobile device has a polygonal edge. A first sensor(110) is included in the mobile device and detects the motion direction of the mobile device according to the user touch in one edge among the polygonal edge. A control unit(120) generates a command signal corresponding to the motion direction. A memory unit(130) stores a command signal corresponding to the motion direction of the mobile device.
