A method for intra-abdominal puncture of the deep echinococcus cyst of the liver comprises laparotomy, the visual exploration of the liver, the palpatory examination for localizing the cyst. Then the cyst is punctured transhepatically with the needle equipped with draining tube, the parasitic content is aspirated, the cystic cavity is disinfected with germicide agents, and the drainage is fixed to the skin. Prior to disinfection, 30 % solution of iodine-containing contrasting substance is administered via the draining catheter for visualizing cystic cavity with the aid of mobile X-ray apparatus with electron-optical image converter. When the sealing of the drained cavity is proved, the contrasting agent is removed, the disinfecting agent is administered, and the draining tube is connected to the bellows. |
