PURPOSE: A recording medium is provided to reduce the visibility of a scratch which exists on the outer-most surface of the recording medium to control the generation of a stain pattern when recording. CONSTITUTION: A recording medium comprises a supporter and an ink receptive layer. The ink receptive layer is formed in one side surface or both side surfaces of the supporter. The supporter is formed by coating a base material using resin. The ink receptive layer is formed on the supporter. A concavo-convex profile is formed in the outer most layer of the recording medium by forming the ink receptive layer after spraying ink receptive layer coating liquid on the supporter.
