The present invention relates to the protection of ships against unauthorized access. A protection system has sections with protective elements made in the form of a spiral of barbed tape. Supporting units are made as racks having lower parts attached to a deck and upper moving parts with stops of their movement. On the racks a drive is mounted for winding and unwinding the tape that is made in the form of a winch. The winch has several winding drums with stops. A crosspiece with holes at the ends of paired ropes is installed on the rack moving part. The central opening is provided for the central rope. The ends of ropes are fastened in winding drums, and the opposite ends, except for central one, are connected to the movable spider crosspiece. The ends of tape are connected to the multipath bracket and spider crosspiece. The end of central tape has a hook for attachment to the adjacent supporting unit. The barbed tape is reinforced with a stainless steel wire and has piercing-cutting elements. The invention reduces the metal content of the system and improves reliability and protection of the vessel perimeter against pirates. |
