A method for the surgical treatment of the acute paraproctitis provides for cutting, exploration and drainage of the cavity of pararectal abscess. Two-step surgery is performed. The first stage, the urgent one, provides for the puncture of the cavity of pararectal abscess, the evacuation of its purulent content, the fractionated lavage of the cavity of the abscess, the infiltration of pararectal fat with antibiotic solution. The second step following the complete preoperative preparation is performed as elective surgery comprising cutting, exploration, sanitization and draining of the cavity of the abscess with resection of the pathologic anal crypt. When such altered crypt is not detected, the posterior cryptectomy is performed. |
