A portable hand unit for applying a napped coating on an area of the surface of a human body comprises a body shaped as a rod of dielectric material with a flock container, a high-voltage source arranged inside of the body, a unit for hand control of the high-voltage source. A high-voltage contact of the high-voltage source is electrically connected to an electrode arranged inside of the container. Said container has an outlet closed by a net of dielectric material penetrable for flock. According to the invention, the high-voltage source is made in such a manner as to allow generating a number of high-voltage pulses in the course of the time of coating. The unit of hand control is made in such a manner as to allow initiating generating or/and stopping action thereof. Such an embodiment of the unit allows improving the safety of an operator and a patient while carrying out the cosmetic flocking procedure. |
